Bradford & Bingley insurance policies will also offer ten per cent extra coverage during December.
Many burglaries occur during the festive period and people should make sure they have adequate cover for all the presents they are buying, the company says. Mr Foyle noted that over 80,000 burglaries were reported during last year's holiday period.
"Knowing that you are sufficiently insured should the worst happen means you can enjoy your celebrations stress-free, safe in the knowledge your home and its contents are protected," Mr Foyle said.
"Christmas is a time for enjoying family, friends and festivities," he added.
