Nationwide International savings accounts rates change

New rates will apply to Nationwide International savings accounts, it has been announced.

An increase of up to 0.9 per cent on the bank's euro savings rates and a 0.25 per cent increase on US dollar rates will apply from January 3rd next year.

The rises follow upon a 0.25 per cent euro rate rise on December 1st and constitute "an excellent deal", according to the bank.

Carl Gandy, managing director of Nationwide International, said: "We are also delighted to be able to offer competitive rates on our fixed rate bonds, which are available over a one, two or three-year term."

Nationwide International savings accounts are run as part of the offshore operation of Nationwide Building Society.
