AA business insurance launched

An AA business insurance is being launched, making it possible for small and medium-sized businesses to choose the organisation for more than their car and home cover.

The new range of policies is offered to small, home-based businesses and multi-million enterprises alike and is underwritten by AXA Insurance.

However, small businesses in the service industry are targeted by the AA business insurance.

Packages include business contents and stock, business interruption and public, product and employers' liability and legal expenses.

John Close, general manager of AA Insurance, said that AA business insurance would be a "natural choice" for successful small or medium-sized enterprises looking for commercial cover.

The AA has around 13 million roadside customers and is already the largest provider of breakdown cover for commercial enterprises.
