Abbey Guaranteed Income Bond launched

Abbey has launched its eighth Guaranteed Income Bond investment.

The latest version of the Abbey Guaranteed Income Bond has been launched, offering customers a guaranteed fixed rate of 3.8 per cent per annum.

Running over four years, the bond guarantees capital return after this period and will pay monthly, quarterly or annual income payments.

For those wishing to receive monthly or quarterly payments, the rate falls to 3.72 per cent.

Pak Chan, head of investments marketing at Abbey, said the bond "has proved incredibly popular" and that it provides the "certainty of regular income for the next four years".

The closing date for applications for the Abbey Guaranteed Income Bond is February 7th, or earlier if the product sells out.
