Nationwide International Euro Savings Account rates adjusted

It has been announced today that the interest rates on the Nationwide International Euro Savings Account have been increased by 0.25 per cent.

Accounts with balances between €1,000 and €24,999 will see their rates rise from 2.25 per cent to 2.5 per cent. Balances above €250,000 will now have a new rate of 2.6 per cent.

All customers owning packages with savings levels between €25,000 and €249,999 will have their interest rate increased from 2.3 to 2.55 per cent.

The Nationwide International Euro Savings Account offers penalty-free access to funds and requires a minimum opening balance of €1,000.

Carl Gandy, managing director of Nationwide International, commented: "More and more people are taking advantage of this great product at market leading rates and we are pleased to provide such a competitive return on their savings."

Interest from the account can be paid annually into the account or any other Euro Savings scheme held with Nationwide International.
