Alliance & Leicester's Direct Isa Issue 2 bonus offer continues to benefit from a 0.7 per cent bonus, boosting the rate on the Direct Isa Issue 2 from 4.5 per cent to 5.20 per cent interest.
From April 12th, the rate will revert to 4.5 per cent gross per annum for new customers.
Mike Woodward, manager for savings at Alliance & Leicester, said: "I would urge savers to…kick-start the new tax year by saving in an Isa now."
The Alliance & Leicester Direct Isa Issue 2 can be opened online or at any of the group's branches.
