Alliance and Leicester International fixed rate bond launched

Alliance and Leicester International limited edition one-year fixed rate bond has been launched today.

The new Alliance and Leicester fixed rate bond will offer a fixed rate of interest set at 5.10 per cent.

Minimum investment is £5,000 and customers can deposit anywhere up to £1 million in the bond which will mature on July 30th 2007.

Interest can be paid either on a monthly basis or customers can wait until the bond is matured to collect their interest, which can be transferred in to another account anywhere in the UK.

Managing director of Alliance and Leicester International, Simon Hull, said: "Our range of fixed rate bonds continue to be exceptionally well received. The rate offered on our latest fixed rate bond is highly competitive in the market and the term gives savers the option of accessing the market gain for the best deal in 12 months time."

The limited edition Alliance and Leicester fixed rate bond is the 25th issue and is part of a range of investment opportunities offered by the international banking company.
