Norwich Union Index-linked Lifetime Mortgage rates raised

The interest rates have been raised on the Norwich Union Index-linked Lifetime Mortgage, it was announced today.

Annual interest rates on the Norwich Union Index-linked Lifetime Mortgage will now be a minimum of 4.69 per cent and a maximum of 9.93 per cent.

Applications have until Friday 14th June to be processed to qualify for the previous rate after which they will be subject to the new interest rates.

Previous rates on the Norwich Union Index-linked Lifetime Mortgage were a minimum rate of 4.39 per cent and a maximum rate of 9.61 per cent.

Daren Carter, director of sales and marketing at Norwich Union Personal Finance, said: "We are the market leader in the lifetime mortgage market and aim to keep our pricing as competitive as possible."

Norwich Union is a part of Aviva the world's sixth largest insurance group.
