New ad' campaign to launch Halifax High Interest Current Account

An all new advert is set to be premiered this evening to coincide with the new Halifax High Interest Current Account.

The advert will feature "old favourite" Howard Brown who has appeared in a number of Halifax advertisements and it will include a performance of Big Brovas' hit song, "Nu flow".

An interest rate of five per cent gross will be promoted as part of the ad' which will also feature a number of "new stars".

Scot Carrick from Dumfries is one of the new stars of the Halifax High Interest Current Account advertisement and Halifax reports that "his brothers and sisters tell him they're embarrassed about the TV ad but he says they love it really".

Originally, the song chosen for the sound track of the new Halifax High Interest Current Account, was a hit all across Europe and went in the UK top 40 at number three in late 2002.

The latest Halifax High Interest Current Account advertisement follows a previous campaign which saw an "animated Howard" share the secret a little bird told him about Halfax's interest rates compared to other high street banks.
