Nationwide Building Society Three-year Loyalty Fixed Rate Bond launched

A new Nationwide Building Society Three-year Loyalty Fixed Rate Bond will become available from August 1st 2006, the company has announced.

Offering a rate of 5.10 per cent gross per annum, the new product will be available throughout the year and the latest bond release is not limited to one per member.

Customers are guaranteed a return for their money and an investment of £5,000 would earn £637 interest on maturity in 2009.

Also being introduced on August 1st are one and two year e-bonds which will be available to both new and existing customers.

Steve Clode, divisional director marketing, said: "The launch of our new loyalty fixed rate bond demonstrates our commitment to rewarding member loyalty by offering a permanently available bond at a competitive fixed rate of interest and providing savers with a guaranteed rate of interest on their savings over a three year term."

Nationwide building society also offers equity ISA investment opportunities.
