Norwich Union Insurance Slips and Trips Management Pack launched

Norwich Union has announced the launch of its management pack which has been designed to help businesses to bring down the number of accidents which happen in the UK's workplaces.

Each year UK employers payout around £512 million because of injuries suffered by their staff and the Norwich Union Insurance Slips and Trips Management Pack is aimed at tacking the costly problem.

Health and safety advice is contained within the packs which can be collected from account managers from any local Norwich Union branch.

John Whittaker, property underwriter at Norwich Union, said: "We have developed this pack to provide property owning clients with practical support to help them manage their business exposure to slip and trip accidents."

"It is not often appreciated that in many cases these accidents are preventable and the pack provides the guidance and tools needed to educate and equip the property owner to reduce incidents, and at the same time save costs," he added.

Norwich Union is the UK's largest general insurer offering home and car insurance among its range of financial products.
