Norwich Union seeks to improve insurance service

Waiting for insurance claims to come through can often be the most frustrating and heart wrenching part for those having to make a claim.

Norwich Union, the UK’s largest general insurer, is aiming to simplify the process by cutting down the time between clients making a claim and receiving their goods.

Starting immediately, Norwich Union assures clients that the process will be less stressful and more comprehensive than its competitors' methods.

Rather than having to wait in long and often slow lines to submit forms, customers will now be able talk directly to Norwich staff over the phone, which will enable the company to gain a higher quality of information with just one request being made.

"We have seen our customer satisfaction feedback results rise dramatically," Norwich Union life claims team manager, Sarah Butler, says of the new phone line.

The claim process will be explained simply and specifically to each client by trained professionals, so that they are fully aware of where their request stands.
