Liverpool Victoria aims to bring help home

Liverpool Victoria admits that money doesn't always buy happiness, but financial support can make a difficult time easier if you are laid up.

The insurance provider has announced that from September 1st it will be providing new and existing single clients with a free professional, personal nurse following injury claims.

In connection with RED ARC, an independent care planning and advice service, the Extra Care service is aimed at improving the living situation for critical illness customers.

After the claim is finalised, customers have the option of receiving oncology, cardiology or neurology care, therapy, physio or counselling, to name a few.

Extra Care will also provide customers with the option of a follow-up from the personal nurse, with ongoing access available through the phone and access to RED ARC's support groups.

Stuart Tragheim, intermediary sales director at Liverpool Victoria, emphasised that the new programme is about helping the client both financially and emotionally.

"It will provide invaluable help and emotional support at a difficult time for both the claimant and their families," he said.

Extra Care is a free service to critical illness clients and their families.
