HSBC Commercial Banking scoops award

Global Finance magazine has named the bank as the Best Corporate/Institutional Bank in the UK in its yearly survey.
Financial website Moneyfacts has also awarded HSBC Commercial Banking the accolade of the best provider of online business banking services.
The website's report says that HSBC Commercial Banking has the widest variety of internet banking options available to its users.
The head of HSBC Commercial Banking in Europe, Alan Keir, says internet banking is the "cornerstone of HSBC's efforts to respond to the changing needs of 21st century businesses".
He points out that these companies no longer require the services available in traditional banking branches.
"With 51 per cent of Britain’s 1.7 million small to medium-sized enterprises expected to bank direct by 2010, demand for internet banking is clear and we're leading the way," Mr Keir concluded.
