Liverpool Victoria Live Chat launched

Technophobes who are wary of using the internet will benefit from the Liverpool Victoria Live Chat service in order to benefit from real-time interaction with an insurance advisor, a spokesperson has declared.

The aim of the new web feature is to encourage customers to air their opinions should any problems arise while on the Liverpool Victoria site and customer service representatives will be on hand to oversee a customer's progress.

When using the Liverpool Victoria Live Chat service, customers are run through the quotation process by a member of staff who can provide instant advice.

Lucy Pope, spokesperson for Liverpool Victoria, said: "We've had a lot of good feedback from customers. I think it's a really useful service.

"Some people don't have the facility to be online and on the phone at the same time. It's great because the six customer services representatives who are responsible for Live Chat can look at where the customer is in the quotation process and help them out. If they rang up they would have to describe where they were in the process."

Liverpool Victoria Live Chat can be accessed during call centre hours by the customer or alternatively, the bank will seek to contact those who do not complete the quotation process in a bid to address any problems.
