Quarter of men leave Xmas shopping to last minute

It seems that some men like to leave things to the last minute when it comes to getting their Christmas presents bought, with a quarter found to wait until Christmas Eve before beginning their search for gifts.

Also, shoppers in the UK are predicted to travel a collective distance of 1.2 billion miles on their way to securing their Christmas presents this year. In a bid to make things a little easier for shoppers, the Post Office recommends making use of its One4All gift voucher.

The Post Office One4All gift voucher can be used at a range of locations meaning that recipients are not tied to just a single retailer.

Hugh Stacey, head of gifting at the Post Office, remarked: "For people who don't live within easy reach of a local high street, or haven't the time to visit a wide range of shops, the new One4All gift voucher from their local Post Office could certainly help save on time and shoe leather."

"From socks to sweaters, facial treatments to fly fishing – there's so much choice your gift can never be in the wrong size or colour," he added.

A total of 17,000 outlets are participating in the Post Office One4All Gift Voucher scheme, including B&Q, Habitat, Topshop, Mothercare and Debenhams.
