Save £1,000 with Leeds three-year fixed-rate mortgage

Leeds Building Society has announced a January sale of its own with savings to be made on the Leeds three-year fixed-rate mortgage.

The mortgage lender announced that from Tuesday, January 2nd, the Leeds three-year fixed-rate mortgage rate will have its completion fee slashed to £335.

A free standard valuation worth up to £335 will also be added to the Leeds three-year fixed-rate mortgage deal.

Remortgage customers will receive free legal services while home purchasers taking out the Leeds three-year fixed-rate mortgage, with a rate of 5.29 per cent, will get £250 cashback.

Karen Wint, the head of marketing and PR at the society, said the Leeds three-year fixed-rate mortgage is "already attractive" but with the changes made to the offer make it "ideal for purchases and remortgages alike".

She added that the Leeds three-year fixed-rate mortgage protects homeowners against any increases in the Bank of England base rate and "provides excellent peace of mind".

Earlier this week, the society launched its first offset buy-to let mortgage.

Offering a starting rate of 5.99 per cent, the mortgage can be taken out at a loan to value of 80 per cent without any higher lending charges.
