New Zurich Guaranteed Capital Account launched

The initial Zurich Guaranteed Capital Account 11 - part of a series - has been launched by the financial services provider.

Zurich intends to keep these products open for a limited time frame and in order to ensure that they remain available throughout 2007, once one product tranche comes to an end, another will begin.

Each of these products have a term lasting five-and-a-half years and as well as offering full capital security, their rate of return is linked with the performance of the FTSE 100 Index.

Paul Wright, Zurich's investment management director, stated: "Previous tranches of these products have proved extremely popular with customers and advisers, so we decided to make them available throughout the year."

The key reason behind the popularity of these products has been attributed by Mr Wright to the fact that they provide capital security.

This year's range starts with the Zurich Guaranteed Capital Account 11, open until March 2nd, and this product offers the customer a return of 135 per cent of any growth occurring in the FTSE Index.
