NatWest offers customers three savings incentives

The NatWest savings and investments free prize draw has been launched along with another two savings incentives to help new and existing customers kick off 2007 in the savings habit.

Firstly, the bank will provide customers with a tax-free sum of £50 should they take advantage of their full NatWest Isa entitlement for the tax year. Another £50 will be given out if next year's allowance is used too.

In addition, youngsters with a NatWest Young Saver account are encouraged to start a monthly standing order of £10 as they will receive a ceramic Paint Your Own Pig piggybank as a result.

Furthermore, NatWest savings and investments free prize draw is to be launched that gives customers the opportunity to win between £100 and £10,000 as well as a limited edition Golden Annabel NatWest pig.

Helen Page, NatWest marketing director, remarked: "Savings are high on the list of priorities when it comes to personal finances and it is important for NatWest to continue to encourage a savings culture amongst customers of every age."

The pig theme has been chosen, Ms Page explained, due to the animal being the historical face of savings at the bank.
