The group's new two-year tracker will track the Bank of England base rate minus 0.41 per cent for two years before tracking it plus 0.99 per cent.
Possessing a 95 per cent loan-to-value rate, the product allows for a maximum loan of £500,000 and requires a fee of £1,499.
For customers looking to give themselves some certainty in terms of their monthly repayments, the Alliance & Leicester premier two-year fixed-rate mortgage possesses a 5.11 per cent interest rate until March 31st 2009.
The maximum loan available for the Alliance & Leicester mortgage is £250,000 and the product fee is £599.
Or for those people looking to mix up their package, the group's two-year mortgage could be ideal.
Fixed at 5.11 per cent until March 31st 2009, the product then reverts to a standard variable rate.
All of the Alliance & Leicester mortgages possess early repayment charges of three per cent of the outstanding balance if the mortgage is redeemed during the period.
