Leeds account 'flexible'

Leeds Building Society has launched the fifth issue of its saver access plus account.

The two-year package pays out interest at 3.75 per cent for investments between £100 and £999, four per cent from £1,000 up to £49,999 and 4.25 per cent from £50,000.

While partial withdrawals are allowed throughout the term, full access is given to the funds without notice or loss of interest.

Stuart Fearn, product development manager at the group, said that the Leeds account would be beneficial "for investors who do not want to tie their money up for any specified time".

He also said that the Leeds account allows the "flexibility" of being available through branch and postal channels.

For further information on a Leeds account, customers can call up the group, drop into their local branch, or visit its website.
