Abbey mortgages launched

Included within the new products are a series of packages with £499 fees, including two-year fixed standard, remortgage and homebuyer deals.
The Abbey mortgages complement the existing range of products with fees up to £999.
The group has also launched a new ten-year fixed-rate deal, giving customers long-term stability even as interest rates rise.
Nici Audhlam-Gardiner, head of mortgages at Abbey, said: "Following the fall in Swap rates in March, we have launched some competitive new mortgage deals for new customers."
The changes in the Abbey mortgage packages do not affect the rates of exiting customers with the group.
