Nationwide travel insurance family 'offer'

Nationwide is allowing four children to be added to a travel insurance policy at no extra cost, a potential money saver during the summer holiday period.

From today, Friday June 1st, the Nationwide travel insurance incentive will be available on all single trip policies for families and single parents taken out this summer.

To qualify for the deal, children must be aged between five and 22 and also live at the same address as the parents to qualify for the Kids Go Free package.

Nationwide travel insurance packages offer up to £10 million for emergency medical expenses, up to £5,000 cancellation cover as well as a 14-day money back guarantee.

Robin Bailey, Nationwide's insurance director, said that people should "remember to take out adequate travel insurance before they go".

He added: "And, just like the holiday itself, it's worth taking time to shop around to make sure you are taking out the right policy for your traveling needs."

People who purchase their Nationwide travel insurance package online will also benefit from a ten per cent discount.
