Lloyds TSB account 'perfect' for students

The group's 2007 student account offers young people the benefit of up to £1,500 overdraft in the first year.
A number of freebies are also being offered with the Lloyds TSB account, including £75 in cash, free mobile phone insurance and the option of applying for a Lloyds TSB credit card designed specifically with students in mind.
Students will also have access to their account 24 hours a day, seven days a week, while 2,000 branches and 55,000 cash machines can also be used.
Caroline Brady, head of student accounts at Lloyds, said: "Starting at university is an exciting time but for many it is also the first time students have had to think about managing their own money."
She added: "This year we have focused on a mixture of benefits and special offers to suit everyone's needs and to help student's manage their finances, we are offering a tiered, interest-free overdraft in the first year."
