The insurance provider suggested that burglars could take advantage of the thousands of people who will be out of the house to cheer on their team.
Debra Williams, managing director of Confused.com, commented: "With the final taking place at 8 o'clock in the evening, it will be glaringly obvious who is in and out unless you think ahead and leave your lights on to reduce the likelihood of becoming a victim.
"Many fans will be making a day of the final and could easily forget to lock doors, shut windows and activate security alarms before heading out."
She added that simply remembering to lock up could help decrease the risk of being burgled, which would in turn prevent insurance premium hikes.
Recently, Confused.com cautioned drivers to be aware that they could face fines and higher insurance premiums if they are caught smoking behind the wheel.
