The account, which is specifically tailored to 16 to 21-year-olds, scooped the prizes for Most Promising New Product and Overall Excellence, beating off competition from over 500 finalists.
As well as its credit interest rate of ten per cent, the account was commended for its career-support features, offering hints and tips on breaking into the account-holder's career of choice.
A mentoring scheme offering expert advice on careers is also included.
"Over the last year we have worked hard to develop our product range and to confirm our commitment to delivering outstanding value and table-topping current accounts for banking customers of all ages," said Alliance & Leicester's Andy Bayes.
