New Zurich account launched for investors

Zurich has launched a new account, dubbed Zurich Guaranteed Account 17, that it hopes will be attractive to investors.

The financial product has been designed to provide intermediaries and their clients with access to potential stock market returns. At the same time their clients' original investments are safeguarded.

A number of bonuses are available to customers who decide to invest in this account and it is open until April 2nd 2008.

Paul Wright, Zurich's investment management director, indicated that these accounts were popular with intermediaries and their clients throughout 2007.

"As well as offering investors a very competitive participation rate, our latest account also offers an early bird bonus which we believe will prove attractive to investors," he added.

Last week, Legal & General announced its Growth Investment Plan Plus 12 product.

Jamie Vale, investment development director, individual wealth, at the company, said this series of products shows the firm's commitment to ensuring there is a "consistent flow of value for money, capital-protected [options] to help advisers respond to clients needs in a timely way".
