Last year the company was awarded seven LifeSearch awards, including Best Service Provider and Best Overall Provider.
It has also picked up a number of gongs already this year, including Best Life Assurance Provider by Professional Adviser magazine and Best Mortgage Protection Provider by Mortgage Strategy magazine.
Bernie Hickman, managing director of protection at Legal & General, said that it aims to "make life easier for advisors and their clients" by making the application process smooth and quick.
He added: "We are continually seeking to improve our technology, service and products so it is always good when this is acknowledged by advisors."
In other news, the group also announced today that their With Profits product is performing well, increasing bond sales by 25 per cent in 2007 and providing an investment return of five per cent cross gross for Conventional With Profits Life policyholders.
