It also comes with standard employers' liability cover of up to £10 million. In addition, customers can take advantage of a number of 'add-in options', such as cover for personal accidents.
Business interruption cover is included as standard with the plan and those signing up will also have access to a free 24/7 advice line, which will offer stress counselling and legal advice.
The insurers also intend to launch products aimed at home businesses, pubs, restaurants and small hotels this spring.
Kate Syred, a spokesperson for Direct Line For Business, noted that office and surgery owners will often have expensive equipment that they need to protect.
"With such a litigious society, it's also important to have an appropriate level of liability cover," she added.
Research released last week by Abbey Insurance found that Brits spend an average of over 25 hours a week worrying, with concerns about homes, possessions and money topping the list.
