Bradford & Bingley notice savings accounts launched

Both accounts offer customers penalty-free access to their money after a notice period of 30 days.
The Internet Saver Notice account has a variable annual interest rate of 6.10 per cent gross per annum for customers with balances under £50,000, 6.2 per cent gross per annum for those with balances between £50,000 and £249,999, and 6.3 per cent gross per annum for savers depositing between £250,000 and £2 million.
Customers opting for the My Time Notice Saver, a postal account, will receive a variable monthly interest rate of 5.94 per annum gross (6.10 per cent AER) for balances under £50,000, which then increases at the same rate as the Internet Saver notice account relative to savings.
Paul Whitlock, head of savings at Bradford & Bingley, said: "Our market-leading notice accounts offer savers an even greater choice and are ideal for those looking for a highly competitive home for their money that offers them a haven from temptation."
Last month the bank launched a limited edition one-year fixed-rate bond.
