Alliance & Leicester: Small business owners should choose the right bank

Overworked small businesses could ease their workload by choosing the right bank, which could benefit the 23 per cent of owners who spend over 50 hours in the office each week.

It has been revealed that many customers with their own business are overworked, with 65 per cent claiming they spend the same, or more, time in the office as they did five years ago.

However, the director of Business Banking at Alliance & Leicester Commercial Bank explained that getting the best value banking deal can reduce stress and allow funds to "work as hard as they are".

Steve Jennings added: "By switching to a better value deal, not only could you save thousands of pounds each year in lost interest, you could also make significant time savings on your day-to-day banking."

Alliance & Leicester was recently named Business Banking Current Account provider of the year by Business Moneyfacts, an accolade it has won for six consecutive years.ADNFCR-323-ID-18653792-ADNFCR
