Marks and Spencer launches 0% credit card offer

New customers for the Marks and Spencer (M&S) credit card are being offered zero per cent interest for ten months on purchases.

In addition, they will also receive zero per cent for six months on balance transfers made within six months of the account opening.

This is subject to a two per cent fee and a minimum of £5.

Cardholders can also make an eight per cent saving on holidays with the Travel Club.

The card's rate is 15.9 per cent APR, typical variable.

M&S is launching the new offers from September 4th.

A new prepaid credit card has just been brought out by online payment service PayPal.

Finance website The Thrifty Scot reports the launch of the product.

It quoted a PayPal official who said the card would allow customers "more confidence to shop online with retailers that don't currently accept PayPal".

Cardholders can top up the card through PayPal's website, at a post office or via PayPal retailers.
