Confused.com issues home insurance warning

The price comparison site warns that many home insurance policies become invalid if the house is left unoccupied for more than 30 days at one time.
Confused.com's home insurance expert Darren Black recommended that tourist planning on taking extended winter breaks should make sure someone can house sit for them for some or all of the period they are away.
He also recommended that holidaymakers shouldn't advertise their plans to potential burglars.
Mr Black added: "Other precautions which travellers can take include purchasing time-lapse automatic lighting, arranging for someone to open and close curtains daily [and] cancelling milk and newspapers."
This warning comes after several Premier League footballers have had their houses targeted during high profile absences.
Burglars attempted to break into the Manchester home of Blackburn Rovers star Zurab Khizanishvili on Wednesday last week, while he was playing against Sunderland in the Carling Cup.
