Nationwide credit card lending wins award

At the Card Awards, which took place recently in London, Nationwide was given the prize for most responsible credit card lending practices for its Trust Us, Trust You campaign.
The key message of the campaign is the mutual trust which is needed between credit card providers and credit card holders - providers must be trusted to lend responsibly and credit card users must be trusted to keep their borrowing within their means.
Jeremy Wood, divisional director at Nationwide, said: "To win this award for the second year running is a fantastic achievement for the society and reflects our ongoing approach to responsible lending, whilst offering products which are fair and transparent."
Other winners at the Card Awards included the Co-operative Bank, which won a prize for the best charity credit card offering.
