LV= announces partnership with Asda

The coverage will be provided by Britannia Rescue, which is the UK's fourth largest road rescue services provider. It was bought up by LV= in 2007 and now forms part of the company's general insurance operation.
Gideon Ingham, head of insurance and savings at Asda, said that his company welcomed the partnership as it would help its customers save money.
He explained: "At Asda, we are obsessed with saving money every day for our customers, a position which is more important than ever with the current economic conditions."
Andrew Beard, business development director of LV= General Insurance, said that the partnership is part of the company's "ambitious growth plans" for its general insurance division.
LV= recently announced another partnership with Nationwide, which will see it providing underwriting services for the building society's car insurance customers.
