Confused.com adds Women on Wheels to website

Confused.com has announced that it will add Women on Wheels to its insurance panel.

The move will enable users of the price comparison site to view quotes from the female-specific car insurance provider and compare their prices to those of other leading insurance companies.

Commercial director at Confused.com, Peter Ablett, said: "Over a million women have visited Confused.com already this year, for a motor quote - an increase of nearly a third on last year - so we are delighted to welcome Women on Wheels to our insurance panel."

Statistically, women make fewer car insurance claims than men, so they are often offered cheaper insurance premiums.

Women on Wheels' comprehensive cover currently offers policy-holders a free replacement car and free legal cover.

The company is a subsidiary of the Endsleigh insurance group, which was founded in 1965.
