Sainsbury's Home Insurance offers discount

The insurance provider, which is a part of Sainsbury's Bank, will give customers a 25 per cent discount if they purchase household contents cover alongside buildings insurance at the moment.
On top of this, Sainsbury's Home Insurance customers can benefit from a further five per cent discount if they buy the insurance online. They will also be given £30-worth of vouchers to spend on food or fuel in Sainsbury's.
Neil Laird, Sainsbury's Home Insurance manager, said: "Quality contents cover doesn't have to be expensive and if householders shop around, they can take advantage of deals such as ours where there are significant savings to be made."
Sainsbury's Bank opened for business in 1997, when it was the UK's first supermarket branded bank. The operation is a 50-50 joint venture with Lloyds Banking Group.
