Leeds Building Society fixed-rate escalator bond launched

The introduction of the new Leeds Building Society fixed-rate escalator bond has been announced to the UK market.

Savers could find themselves rejoicing with the announcement, as the bond is offering a return of 3.25 per cent on investment in the first year, followed by 3.50 per cent, 3.75 per cent four per cent and six per cent in subsequent years.

It also gives has an AER of 4.10 per cent.

Director of sales and marketing for Leeds Building Society Kim Rebecchi stated: "Customers know exactly what their return will be as well as having the comfort of knowing that they have instant access, without notice or penalty, to 25 per cent of their funds."

The Leeds Building Society fixed-rate escalator bond can be applied for thorough the post, online or in-branch.

Another saving initiative which has attracted attention of late is The Nottingham two-year fixed-rate bond, which offers a fixed-rate of 4.35 per cent.
