Brits deterred from dentist due to expense, finds Tesco Dental Insurance

The poll, carried out by Tesco Dental Insurance, discovered that 40 per cent of Brits are put off going to see their dentist because they expect the bill to be too expensive.
Of the respondents, those in the south-east were found to be the most worried about this issue, reports MoneyHighStreet.com.
Jeremy Sutton, head of the organisation, said: "Given the current economic situation many people are worried about spending money. Receiving important dental treatment is essential to overall health as well as oral health."
Other firms which provide dental insurance in the UK are Dencover, Medibroker and the Hospital Saving Association.
