Nationwide members' zone website unveiled

Nationwide has announced the launch of a new members' zone website, which offers customers of the banking group a portal through which they can access information of forthcoming events and benefits.

The site can be accessed either from the existing Nationwide website or through its new domain name, and provides updates on what's new in the industry and member events, as well as featuring podcasts and videos.

Corporate affairs director at the banking group Maxine Taylor stated: "Members can book places at forthcoming TalkBack events that we hold across the UK, or read transcripts of online TalkBack sessions held between members and the society's directors."

She added that the aim of the site is for the bank to communicate more directly with customers.

Earlier this month, Nationwide's Importance of Saving Index rose by 11 points, indicating that people are more aware of the benefits of putting money aside for the future.
