New HSBC Onshore Investment Bond launched

HSBC has introduced its new Onshore Investment Bond offering almost 2,000 funds from over 100 fund managers, the group has announced.

The new bond is aimed at those searching for an account that is professionally managed and is offering two variations - the Select version, designed for fee-charging advisers and the Flexible bond, for commission-priced advisers.

Both allow for regular withdrawals to be made, encouraging a tax-efficient method of supplementing income.

"We believe we have developed a truly dynamic set of products that will enable advisers to offer customers a highly competitive bond with whole of market fund access, whether they choose to take fees or commission," explained head of life investments at HSBC Tim Potten.

Last month, HSBC was named responsible lender of the year at commercial and consumer magazine Credit Today's annual awards ceremony. It was recognised for its conscientious attitude towards lending.
