There is a minimum investment of £10,000, but the same amount or more must be put in to a World Selection account too, so the minimum capital needed would be £20,000.
David Wells, head of investments at HSBC, championed the straightforwardness of the product, as the saver will know exactly how much of a return they are getting back.
He added: "World Selection enables experts to diversify investments, spreading money across geographies and types of asset and then monitoring it closely."
The interest on the account is offered both monthly and annually, but the product must be applied for in a branch.
Last week, the bank announced that all eligible ISA savers will be able to add an extra £1,500 to their savings from October 6th.
This is because of a decision made in this year's budget which will affect all over-50s from next year.
