Santander announces Bradford & Bingley online Notice Saver account

Santander has launched the Notice Saver account through its UK brand Bradford & Bingley.

It is a 60-day notice account offering 3.3 per cent gross interest each year with a minimum balance of £1.

Bradford & Bingley is also launching a two-year fixed-rate Isa with a minimum investment of £1,000 which offers a 3.75 per cent return.

Reza Attar-Zadeh, director of savings and investments at the organisation, recommended that people act fast if they like the look of the products as they are only available for a limited time.

"As part of our continued commitment to offer competitive savings accounts we're pleased to be able to launch these two new, highly attractive accounts available for both new and existing customers."

Another of Santander's UK brands, Abbey, announced this week that it had so far given away £24,000 in its September prize draw, but still had another £12,000 to hand out.

People are in with a chance of winning £50 every hour by entering the competition.
