Confused.com says shop around for energy providers

The comparison site discouraged customers from staying loyal to their energy supplier unless they were saving money by doing so.
Gareth Kloet, head of utilities at Confused.com, commented that savings can sometimes be made just by switching to another tariff from the same company.
He said: "You can easily take a look at the savings that could be made and the benefits that come with the various tariffs, to help pick the right tariff for your circumstances."
This week, uSwitch released a survey which showed that the energy company with the most satisfied customers is Scottish and Southern Energy, where 73 per cent said they are happy with the service.
This is the sixth time in a row the company has won the consumer vote.
