Leeds Building Society re-launches online account

Leeds Building Society has announced that it is to reintroduce its easy access account for online customers.

Paying a rate of 3.05 per cent on investments, the account also allows savers to withdraw cash at any time without incurring a penalty or having to provide prior notice.

Available to new customers, the product also allows existing account holders to top up their savings over the Christmas period.

The account is available for a limited time only, so consumers who are interested are urged to sign up soon.

Kim Rebecchi, Leeds Building Society sales and marketing director, said: "Following a fantastic response to this account, we have reopened the issue at the same great rate. We are delighted to make available this special pre-Christmas offer to both new and existing customers."

Recently, the building society pledged to increase its online services due to increasing customer demand, including changing the design and layout, as well as offering real-time updates so people can access new products as soon as they are launched.
