Santander offers free ATM withdrawals to customers

Santander bank account holders will now be able to make free withdrawals from ATM machines in Spain.

Adults who hold their accounts with the institution will be able to take money out of any of Santander's cash machines without incurring any foreign transaction fees.

Customers who hold a Zero Current Account with the company can also utilise this service, as well as others, including no authorised or unauthorised charges and free ATM withdrawals worldwide.

Those who hold their accounts or mortgages with Santander or Alliance & Leicester can now also apply for the Zero Credit Card, which offers no interest on balance transfers for the first year and zero interest on any purchases made with it in the first three months.

Emma Roberts, director of Santander Cards, commented: "By offering the Zero Credit Card with no balance transfer fee to our existing mortgage and current account customers we are providing customers with a completely unique proposition within the market."
