He said: "Launching PRP on to Exweb shows our ongoing commitment to the intermediary market and our readiness to use technology to streamline the quotation process wherever possible."
Mr Trott added the PRP product is a priority for LV=, which is the second financial services company to advertise its product over a fixed term using the online platform.
Exweb provides a service to customers and independent financial advisers which allows them to compare products in the current marketplace to find the most competitive quote.
It offers a platform for companies registered under the Financial Services Authority which offer retirement, insurance, savings, mortgages and investment products.
