Axa Car Insurance report praises young British drivers

Craig Staniland, Axa insurance director for motoring, said: "In Britain we do seem to be performing better than our European neighbours and as a whole seem to be more concerned about the issues surrounding young drivers."
He added that he wanted to see the "old fashioned values" of etiquette back on Britain's roads.
It was also revealed that 25 per cent of people in the UK would like the age limit to be raised for younger drivers, while 14 per cent want curfews to be introduced.
Sanisbury's Finance recently reported that although there has been a sudden increase in the number of people planning to buy cars this year, half a million buyers intend to use a loan to cover 100 per cent of the cost.
