Confused.com hopes to give consumers pleasant surprise

Price comparison site Confused.com has revealed that it will be hoping to present consumers with a pleasant surprise when they go to renew their energy provider deal, by offering them up to £30 cashback.

Gareth Kloet, head of utilities at the organisation, claimed that comparing the different contracts that are available with different companies is "so easy" and it could land customers with significant savings on top of the website's new cashback arrangement.

People will be given £15 for each type of fuel that they switch, with some energy providers stating that they are willing to add their own financial clout to make a deal even more profitable for the public.

"We're really keen for customers to try switching through Confused.com when they shop for the best energy deals and our offer will hopefully give customers an added reward," explained Mr Kloet.

He recently suggested that the cheapest deals are available online, as long as people choose to pay by direct debit.
