Bank of Scotland Instant Access Savings Account Reward offers up to 2 per cent interest

The limited edition Bank of Scotland Instant Access Savings Account Reward could deliver a return of two per cent, if savers hold a qualifying current account with the firm.

It can be opened in-branch, on the phone or online and can be managed on the internet, by telephone and by post.

The minimum balance for the product is £1,000 and an unlimited number of deposits can be carried out during the course of a year, but only four withdrawals are allowed in that time.

A preferential rate of interest of two per cent is offered for 12 months for customers holding a Bank of Scotland current account into which they pay more than £1,000 each month or if they have an Ultimate Reward Account.

If consumers do not qualify for this rate, they will receive a return of 1.8 per cent.

Recently, Bank of Scotland published its labour market barometer, which highlighted a generally improving job situation in Scotland in April.
